Angolan President sends message to Emperor Naruhito

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 22 - A message from the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, expressing the desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation, was delivered this Tuesday, in Tokyo, Japan, to Emperor Naruhito, ,

The document was delivered by the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Frederico Silva Cardoso, on the sidelines of the enthronement ceremony of the new Japanese Emperor, which was attended by representatives of about 170 countries.

In the letter, the President wished happiness to the Japanese sovereign who succeeded his father, Emperor Emeritus Akito.

The new ruler of the world's oldest monarchy became the 126th Emperor on May 1st of this year.
